The Leica XCR Catch Laser Receiver is a special device designed to detect laser beams projected by the Leica Lino ML 180 multi-line laser. It helps increase the readable range of the Lino ML180 while working indoor or outdoor. The XCR receiver is a 3-mode type of laser detector with an accuracy of +/-1, +/-3, and +/-5 millimeters.

This Leica receiver has different buttons for certain functions, led indicators, and a display that shows the battery life and volume. Also included is a level vial that is helpful in keeping the XCR in level while receiving the laser beam. This Leica laser receiver is made of plastic with an IP54 protection class, which ensures that it is dust and water resistant. The XCR laser receiver is powered by three AA batteries.
