The Stabila 1/4-20 to 5/8-11 Threading Adapter Base can be used to make a device with a 5/8-20 threading attachment mount compatible with an accessory with a 1/4-20 threading mount.

Rigid Fixtures: The adapter has a hole at the top from which it can be screwed on to the target area. The adapter holds the attached device in place and doesn't budge when sufficiently tightened and keeps the attached equipment, like line and dot laser, stationary during its operation, which is imperative for accurate readings.

Flexible and Adjustable: This adapter's two-piece design allows the required instrument to be rotated about 360 degrees in either direction for fine adjustment during positioning and alignment. Its top surface is flat and wide, which provides further stability to any attached instrument.
