    The Stop Assisted-Braking Descender is a self-belay device with assisted-braking for precise descent control when climbing down trees, caves, and more. Use with 8.5 to 11 mm diameter low stretch ropes for smooth descent. The Stop Descender has an ergonomic handle that lowers the likeliness of being bumped or squeezed, avoiding unintentional brake release. It allows the easy unblocking of rope and lowering of the user without tiring the hand that controls the braking. The handle is also designed to face the user, for better rope control. The safety gate allows easy rope installation, even while a harness is connected. The pulley and cam of the Stop Assisted-Braking Descender is made of stainless steel, while the side plate is made of aluminum, so durability and safety can be expected while descending.
