    Overview for Fluke 3054724 9140 Series Field Metrology Dry-Well

    Designed to calibrate a wide range of sensors, the Fluke 9140 Series Field Metrology Dry-Well is a precision-device used to calibrate loop, thermocouples, RTD's, thermostatic switches, industrial thermometers and other temperature-sensing devices. It provides a temperature range of up to 1,220 °F with an accuracy of up to ±32.9 °F at 1,220 °F. Also, this Fluke dry-well offers a stability of approximately ±32.09 °F at 1,220 °F.

    For added precision and ease-of-use, this Fluke temperature calibrator features both auto setup and manual setup that allow technicians to choose which procedure they prefer when calibrating. In addition, every calibration is supported with a 4:1 test uncertainty ratio. To achieve uniformity, the Fluke 9140 Series includes thermal block and a dual-zone control.

    The Fluke 9140 dry-block calibrator features a digital LCD display with a keypad to maximize the calibration experience. It includes an RS-232 and 9930 Interface-it control software to manage data collection easily. This Fluke metrology dry-well also comes with an IEC-17205 NVLAP-accreditation calibration certificate which promotes device and user-safety.

    Configuration Options

    The Fluke 9140 Series Field Metrology Dry-Well is available in three models with optional readout process. The process version provides a built-in readout for resistance, voltage, mA measurement, 24V loop power, and onboard documentation. In addition, different insert types may be ordered with each unit, accommodating a variety of metric and imperial-sized probe diameters (see this image for more information).     • Insert "A" has imperial miscellaneous holes.
    • Insert "B" has imperial comparison holes for the 9142 model. The insert B for the 9143/9144 models has one 1/8”, one 3/8”, two 1/4”, and two 3/16” holes.
    • Insert "C" has 0.25" diameter holes.
    • Insert "D" has metric comparison holes.
    • Insert "E" has metric miscellaneous holes and a 0.25" diameter hole.
    • Insert "F" has metric comparison miscellaneous holes and a 0.25" diameter hole.
