    The Fluke 271-U DDS Function Generator with Arbitrary Capability is a test equipment that can generate a variety of waveforms and frequencies. Providing superior accuracy and high spectral purity, it features a Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) technique that uses a phase accumulator, lookup table, and a digital-to-analog converter. The Fluke 271-U comes with an arbitrary capability that has a storage for five user-defined waveforms.

    This function generator comes with a highly stable frequency range of up to ten megahertz and accuracy of ±10ppm for one year. Also, the 271-U generator offers an extensive modulation potential such as Sweep, Amplitude Modulation (AM), Gating, trigger/burst, Frequency-shift keying (FSK) and Hop. It comes with a switchable output impedance of 50 or 600 ohms.

    For easy data reading, the Fluke 271-U function generator features a 20-character alphanumeric LCD display that has 4 rows and a keyboard selection of mode and other waveforms. It includes nine full instrument settings that can be stored and recalled from the battery-supported memory. In addition, it uses GPIB and RS-232 interfaces for a fast and secure data transfer when doing testing operations.
