The Notch Wear Safe Steel Friction Ring is a reliable tool used by arborists to provide friction management in a working rope during climbing or light rigging procedures. It works well with prusiks, climbing lines, and nylon friction savers, and is designed to have a unique serial number and load rating in its body.

This Wear Safe Ring is made of heavy-duty steel material which is hot-forged, and CNC turned for a smooth and strong outer finish. It is constructed with a 33% larger bend radius to avoid maximum damage to the rope, and it comes with a red wear indicator mark to provide increased safety and ease of inspection after multiple uses. This Friction Ring has a tensile strength of 6,744 lbs (30kN), and has a lifetime warranty under Notch.
