The Sterling Ultimate Positioning Lanyard Kit is an essential gear system that is used by arborists for support and for secure hold during climbing procedures. It consists of a heavy-duty lanyard, with attached climbing gears for an easy work position adjustment. This adjustable lanyard functions as a connector to an anchor point, allowing two-in-one positioning, M system configuration, and one handed operation of tending slack, which ensures a safe, versatile, and reliable climbing application for the climber.

This Ultimate Positioning (UP) device features the unique 7/16" D (11mm) TriTech flipline, which is made from heavy duty Technora sheath, a Dyneema inner jacket, and an energy-absorbing nylon core, making it very strong, rugged, and flexible enough for an easy movement and positioning. This climbing kit comes with numerous prusik cords for efficient friction management, has an attached mechanical pulley for proper rope adjustment, and comes with several carabiners for easy attachment and connection to the harness and working line. The Sterling UP Lanyard Kit is designed with a tensile strength of 5,418 lbs., making it a dependable utility for the tree professional.
