Developed especially for setting out work on batter boards and on floor slabs, the Berntsen Surveyor's Folding Stake Out Aid makes surveying the axes on the batter boards easier. The RS96 is placed on the ground which the surveyor's dimensional data can be carried accurately to the floor slab. With the RS96, there is no need for accurate plumbing of the prism pole.

The RS96 features an orientation scale for all directions (left, right, back and front). It has a target height of 20 millimeters with a 20 x 20 mm reflective target. In addition, it can fit in any shirt pocket with its foldable feature.
