The Mutual Industries Staked Turbidity Barrier is an erosion control device designed for containing water runoff and redirecting it to proper channels or retention areas. Commonly used in construction sites, roads, ditches, and other locations with increased water flows, it features a vinyl/polyester fabric curtain with heat-sealed hem along the top edge to keep the water from entering.
This turbidity barrier by Mutual Industries is ideal for porous soil with moderate slopes. It is installed eight inches below and 36 inches above grade. It offers optional 2”L x 2”W x 60”H wooden stakes wherein the upper portion of the curtain is attached with staples, wires, or nylon ties. These stakes are driven in six-feet intervals to hold the curtain steadily in a vertical position.
The Mutual Industries Staked Turbidity Barrier comes in two size and package options—44"W x 100'L fabric only and 44"W x 50'L fabric with stakes—to meet different applications. It also includes a six-month manufacturer’s warranty for guaranteed reliable performance.
The Mutual Industries Staked Turbidity Barrier is available in two different models. Please choose from the menu above.
