Stainless Steel Arborist Rigging Block

The CMI Stainless Steel Arborist Block is built to sustain shock loading, a situation where the load free-falls momentarily before being caught by the block. This places far more force on the hardware than normal lowering. The arborist block has widened cheek plates to protect ropes and an upper sheave to safely attach a rigging sling. 

High-Load Capacity: This arborist block is built to bear heavy loads and large forces without failure. With a working load limit of 3 tons (26.6 kN), it has a tensile strength of 4000 lbs (177 kN). Built from high-strength steel, this arborist block can sustain a huge amount of shock load and stress.

Reliable in any Environment: Having a high-quality construction, the block is strong and durable. Its waterproof finishing keeps the block rust-free and corrosion-resistant, even in highly humid and moist environments. The block can also resist bending or deformation due to high temperatures. The block has a 3.24” sheave, and thus, can cater to ropes of up to 3.25” diameter. The swivel top provides ease of rope handling and a smooth roller provides a smooth rope traverse.
