The CMI 4” Heavy Duty Pulley is CMI’s largest pulley that you can stake your life on. This device helps control descents and reduce friction on ropes, lines, and rigging. Extend the life of your gear with this safety equipment.

The heavy-duty pulley has stainless steel side plates and axle, which adds strength while preventing corrosion. The side plates also the sheave to protect the rope from tree or surface. The 4” aluminum sheave is also designed to reduce weight while maintaining the toughness of the system.

The pulley rigging point is enlarged to accommodate the biggest carabiners possible. This is because its minimum breaking strength is up to 16,000 lbs. To maximize this, your gear must be equally strong. If you employ a safety factor of five, the recommended working load limit for this pulley is 3,200 lbs.
