Soil Probe Rod

The Trumbull Soil Probe Rod is designed for making it easy to locate buried lines. Available in insulated and non-insulated (welded) types, it gives professionals the option to choose what’s right for their needs. It is also available in 4’, 5’, or 10' lengths. 

A great option for professionals who want extra safety, the Trumbull insulated soil probe has a non-conducting molded rubber insulation that encases the steel handle and upper section of the shaft. It is laboratory-tested to protect against electrical shock from contact with buried secondary lines (although it will not provide protection against contact with primary voltages). In addition, it comes with a ½” diameter heavy-duty steel shaft and a replaceable alloy steel tip. 

On the other hand, the welded soil probe is great for those who want a sturdy and dependable probe for work without breaking the bank. It comes with a plain handle and a non-replaceable steel tip. Both products are covered with a limited lifetime warranty.
