Portawrap Rope Friction Device

The Notch Portawrap Rope Friction Device is a heavy-duty rope anchor point designed to let you rig wood and logs safely and efficiently. Its 2,000-lb capacity allows you to safely work with the biggest of lumber.

The Portawrap design allows working lines to be installed and removed with little effort – no need to detach it from the anchor point. Its smooth, durable surface provides consistent friction so that you have absolute control at all times. You can adjust the movement speed by simply adding or subtracting wraps around the body of the tool.

It works in any position – horizontal, vertical, or inverted. This will give you the flexibility to use it with any tree, in any place, in any condition. You can also use it to secure rigging with the rope retention bar.

Extend the life of your lines by using this Portawrap to smoothly decelerate your freshly-cut lumber, avoid shocks or sudden loading, and lower it safely on the ground. You can also use this to create a mechanical advantage when lifting heavy objects using pulley systems

Product Options

The Notch Portawrap Rope Friction Device comes in two options that differ on their size. Medium is for lines up to 9/16" & weighs 3 3/4 lbs while the Large device is for lines up to 3/4" & weighs 7 1/4 lbs. Kindly choose your preference on the options menu above.
