Port-A-Wrap III Lowering Device

The Buckingham Port-A-Wrap III Lowering Device is a heavy-duty rope anchor point used by a tree professional for rigging wood and logs safely and efficiently. This compact friction tool can easily be attached and wrapped to the base of a tree, with the help of a whoopie or an eye sling, offering effective control of lowering heavy loads.

Durable Construction: This Buckingham device is made from high-quality plated steel material that offers reliable wear-resistance and high strength. It is designed with a long hitch pin on its end for cleating off the sling, an eye to accommodate a pulley for better mechanical advantage during pre-tensioning, and a solid ring to retain the working rope and to improve the strength of its braking function. This Port-A-Wrap allows working lines to be installed and removed with little effort - no need to detach it from the anchor point, and its smooth, durable surface provides consistent friction so that the user can have absolute control at all times.
