The Husqvarna Plastic Tree Felling Wedge is a lightweight, handy tool that is used by arborists and climbers to maintain the opening, slit or kerf, during wood cutting. It is made from high impact Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) material, which makes it a strong and reliable wedge, resistant to shrinking when mauled. It is temporarily inserted to the slit, keeps it open, and prevents the cut from pinching back while the saw slices through the wood. It can also be used for bucking trees which are already in the ground.
