The CMI Rope Jack Mechanical Rigging Device is an essential tool used by arborists to effectively pre-tension static lines, or for light lifting and cabling applications. Lightweight and compact, this device is designed to limit excess loading on the system, ensuring safe and reliable lifting without rope damage, and can only be used for light rigging procedures and not for heavy or dynamic load lifting. It can only be used as a life support when combined with a progress capture device.

High-Quality Construction: This mechanical rigging device is made from heavy-duty aluminum material, and is approved to be used on static ropes with 3/8" to 5/8" diameter. It has a mid-line attachment, has a mechanical advantage of 3:1, and is compatible with most static ropes, making it a reliable partner for light lifting. When used by a single person, this tool can produce a range of 300-800 lbs. of force, and is efficient in removing slack and stretch for lowering, or for lifting the tips on light limbs.
