By measuring the Photosynthetically Active Radian (PAR) light, the Turf-Tec Light Meter / Daylight Indicator reads light intensity levels on outdoors, golf greens, stadiums, greenhouses, and any structure that affects agricultural crops. With just a push of a button, this pocket-sized device reads real-time Daily Light Integral (DLI) in every four seconds over 24 hours.

Water-resistant in construction, the light meter can be locked in an open field for a full day testing. You can insert it in the green, tee, fairway area, sports field or stadium and check how many of its four LED lights are illuminated after 24 hours. One light means there is a poor amount of daylight, while four lights mean an excellent amount of light is present and the turf condition is good.

The Turf-Tec daylight meter is an affordable, first step in measuring light. It weighs 1.8 oz and features a handy size of 7.5 x 2.5 inches. Three A76/LR44/L1154 batteries are included and last up to 100 DLI calculations.
