The Mutual Industries Jute Mesh Erosion Blanket is a cost-effective alternative to straw/wood fiber blankets for preventing soil erosion and surface runoff. It is designed for use on slopes up to 2:1 and channels with light to moderate flow. Featuring a breathable mesh design, it offers partial shade and heat storage to allow the growth of plants, grass, and ground cover.

Ideal for landscaping or riverbank and shoreline stabilization, this erosion blanket by Mutual Industries is constructed of 100-percent woven coir, one of the few natural fibers that offer resistance against damage by salt water. It has a minimum yarn count of 78 warps per width and 42 wefts per linear yard. It can hold water up to 450-percent of its material weight.

The Mutual Industries Jute Mesh Erosion Blanket measures 4’W x 225’L and covers a total area of 100 square yards. It is durable and provides a long blanket life of one to two years. It also includes a six-month manufacturer’s warranty for guaranteed reliable service.
