Insulated Soil Mighty Probe With Round Rod

The T&T Insulated Soil Mighty Probe With Round Rod incorporates all the quality features of the Smart Stick with the addition of a 6-inch current isolator to increase operator protection against electrical shock. It is outlined with a 3/8-inch diameter high-strength steel alloy shaft which resists bending and bowing for easy probing of hard ground.

This mighty probe has a solid steel handle which is very easy to grip with both hands, even when wearing gloves. It is intently designed to be used for secondary protection and is not intended to replace the user's personal protective equipment. It provides increased protection against electrical shock resulting from incidental contact with energized lines. As with all quality tools, this probe should be used correctly and under proper conditions.

The T&T soil probe has been tested to 50,000 volts by an independent testing laboratory following American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) testing procedures. Plus, it has been tested by the commercial laboratory services of a major utility company, both dry and 48-hour water soaked to 45,000 volts.
