Integrates all the quality features of a Smart Stick, the T&T Insulated Soil Mighty Probe has been packed with a 6-inch current isolator to increase the operator’s protection against electrical shock. It is outlined with a high-strength steel alloy shaft which resists bending and bowing for easy probing of hard ground, this probe is ideal for all underground electrical jobs.

Built with a solid steel handle which is very easy to grip with both hands, even when wearing gloves, this mighty probe comes with a Hex rod that is approximately 20% stiffer than the round rod. Providing increased protection against electrical shock resulting from incidental contact with energized lines, this tool is intently designed to be used for secondary protection and is not intended to replace the user's personal protective equipment. As with all quality tools, this probe should be used correctly and under proper conditions.

The T&T soil probe has been tested to 50,000 volts by an independent testing laboratory following American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) testing procedures. In addition, this probe has been tested by the commercial laboratory services of a major utility company, both dry and 48-hour water soaked to 45,000 volts.

Configuration Options

The T&T Insulated Soil Mighty Probe With Hex Rod comes in eight sizes, from 36 to 78 inches in length, and two sizes for the hex rod. On the 3/8" hex rod diameter, the outside diameter is ½" while on the 7/16" hex rod diameter outside diameter is 9/16".Choose your selection in the drop-down section above.
