Insect Flotation Sampler

Analyze insects within a turf area using the Turf-Tec Insect Flotation Sampler. This instrument is easily inserted through the grass and filled with a weak soap and water solution. The Turf-Tec Insect Sampler has a six-inch diameter and a seven-inch height, which covers a wide area to collect samples. Made with a sturdy, 16 gauge steel for years of use, the sampler can be inserted to a depth of four inches. Insects that float to the surface are then identified, counted, and removed to determine population-level estimates.
