Infiltrometer

The Turf-Tec Infiltrometer is used to determine water infiltration rates in as fast as 15 minutes. This instrument identifies the soil porosity, soil health, and overall grass performance without damaging the turf. It determines how soon an athletic field will be playable after the occurrence of rain. Equipped with a double ring accuracy, the infiltrometer is useful to universities, construction workers, and government agencies.

Sturdy and reliable, the Turf-Tec Infiltrometer has a rust-proof zinc plating, custom vinyl handle grips, and case hardened cutter blades for extra strength. Its inner ring measures 2 3/8 inches while its outer ring is at 4 1/4 inches.  An elapsed time indicator enables you to correlate the irrigation time to the infiltration rate of the turf. A float and inch indicator is also present as a water level scale in inches and millimeters.

Weighing 12 pounds, the Turf-Tec infiltrator is a durable instrument for periodic turfgrass evaluation and other engineering applications.
