The Sterling HTP Ring Sling Climbing Friction Saver is a versatile tool that arborists use for friction management during climbing and rigging procedures. It provides a safer and easier way to reduce friction and it helps in allowing the rope to run smoother and lessen the abrasion for longer use. This adjustable ring-and-sling friction saver can go around small branches and even on large trunks of a tree.
Durable & Heavy-Duty: This Sterling Friction Saver is made from high-quality 11mm D x 60' L HTP neon green cordage, with high strength and durability, ensuring strong hold during arborist work while protecting the tree from abrasion. This is expertly sewn for long term use, featuring an ISC large aluminum ring (40mm inner diameter) on one end, and the other end can be used to attach carabiners and other safety connectors for climbing. This friction saver has a tensile strength of 3,822 lbs, and is usually used with the Adjustable Retrievable Anchor (A/R) Friction Saver.
