EC II D-R Electronic Clinometer

This means that not only can it measure inclination and heights, but it can also calculate basal area and volume, among others. Although small in size, this multi-function device delivers quick results of stand volume estimates and great accuracy for height measurements.

The latest version of the Haglof EC II D-R features the addition of a trigonometrical distance calculator with a reference height set at 2 m or 6 ft on the object to measure. In addition, the device comes with built-in basal area functions. Once used, it automatically displays the basal area and give a volume estimate based on the dominant tree height or average height – eliminating possible calculation errors.

This revolutionary digital clinometer measures heights up to 999 feet (accuracy of ±0.1-foot) and has an angle range of -55 to +85 degrees (accuracy of 0,2 degrees). It has a volume representation of upper height x form factor x basal area. The EC II D-R is powered by 1 AA alkaline battery and is covered by a 1-year manufacturer’s defect warranty.
