Direct Soil pH Pen

With a waterproof IP57 design that floats on water, the Turf-Tec Direct Soil pH Pen measures temperature and pH levels in soil, semi-solids, solids, and liquids. Unlike other models, this instrument directly reads soil samples without the need to mix it in a slurry. The pen also reads liquid pH in irrigation water and spray tanks.

To use on soil, pull a sample and press the Turf-Tec pH Pen’s flat surface electrode into it. Equipped with an automatic temperature compensation, a simultaneous reading of pH and temperature appears. Its memory records and recalls up to 15 sequential tagged readings and detects changes over time. Units are accurate to ±.10 pH point. The instrument also has a data hold, auto power off and low battery indication function for a better reading and long battery life.
