DeepRoot Root Barrier Panel

The DeepRoot Root Barrier Panel is a patented mechanical barrier that effectively manages root expansion and protects the surrounding hardscapes without compromising tree health or growth. These barriers can be used around the roots of new plantings as well as of existing trees.

Good Features: The black barrier panels for roots are made up of injection-molded reprocessed polypropylene which makes them quite strong, durable, and flexible. They have a tensile strength yield of 26,200 kPa and elongation yield of 6.3%. The raised vertical ribs deflect roots while the ground lock tabs secure the panels in the ground. Furthermore, the rounded edges allow safe handling and usage.

Instant Assembly: The panels are easy and quick to install as they come with a zipper joiner system. It helps them slide together easily. These scientifically designed panels provide a hindrance to the aggressive roots and keep them from cracking and uplifting paths, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and paving.

UV Protection: The panels are black and come with ultraviolet inhibitors. Thus, preventing degradation and harm posed by UV rays, maintaining the properties of panels.

Application Styles: The root barrier sheets can be used for either surround, linear, or root pruning applications. The linear application involves placing guides in a straight line directly along the hardscape to be protected, while the surround application involves placement on all four sides of planting. Root pruning can also help save trees and prevent damage to the paving. The invasive roots are cleanly cut and removed and a linear root barrier is then installed.
