The Closed Base for Safco Steel Flat Files is an essential addition to the office file organization. It is designed to perfectly complement both of Safco’s 5-Drawer and 10-Drawer steel flat files. It raises flat files six inches off the floor and has a capacity of 2,500 pounds. It can also hold up to five files consisting of a combination of five and ten-drawer cabinets. This flat file base is made of 22-gauge thick steel with a powder coat finish. Its front is recessed 2.75 inches from the file to provide toe space. It is also safe for indoor use and does not emit harmful chemicals as certified by GREENGUARD.
