This device greatly reduces the energy needed to climb, and is flexible enough to adapt to limbs and uneven surfaces. It features a rip-stop lanyard, which automatically activates once an impact of 4kN / 900lbs of force is attained, greatly minimizing high shock force, making it a reliable and life-saving device for the climber.
