The El Diablo Descender is made from high-quality, 6061-T6 aluminum material, featuring a center hole doubling as a belay plate, and two smaller holes and ears that hold working ropes for lightweight applications. It has a tensile strength of 8,000 lbs, has standard dimensions of 5.5" L  by 3.5" W, acts as a friction gear, and effectively controls the rate of descent. It is designed for left and right hand use, can be used on single or double ropes for rappelling, and can easily be navigated throughout descent, making it a reliable utility for the user.
