Captain Throwing Hook Climbing Kit

The DMM Captain Throwing Hook Climbing Kit is a reliable set of tools used by arborists for an efficient work positioning during climbing procedures. It helps in providing an increased stability for the user, as well as giving a more sturdy anchoring for a controlled movement during traversing. This kit comes with the Captain Hook device, a D-Shackle, a 50' cord, which are all organized in a DMM 6L tool bag. 

High-Quality Construction: The Captain hook is made from heavy-duty 100% CNC-machined aluminum material, and is designed as a self-locating/self-orienting, bark and branch friendly, high-strength hook with a 4,047 lbs. (18kN) strength. The kit also features 50' cord made from 10mm Sirius material, and a pivoting D-Shackle, made with hot-forged aluminum, which helps in reducing torsional friction and gives the hook freedom to attach correctly to remote anchors with up to 90mm in diameter. When the job is done, the Captain device racks efficiently on a harness, reducing the chances of snagging.
