The Picard Balanced Ding Hammer makes a great auto body repair hammer for body makers. It finely shapes and smooths sheet metals through a combination of a 30 mm round end and a 40 mm round face on the opposite end. This helps smoothen out uneven surfaces and dents.

Made by one of the leaders of automotive body tools today, this Picard hammer is designed for longevity and dependability on the job. It features a carefully hardened and tempered alloy steel head with a blue hammer effect enamel. The head and handle are secured with a ring wedge fixture.

In addition, this German-made hand tool comes with an octagon-shaped handle that’s made of hickory. This unique shape reduces slipping and improves grip. The hammer itself comes with smooth faces, a .94 lbs (430 g) head weight, and a 6” (155 mm) handle length.
