Apron Style Chainsaw Protective Chap

The Notch Apron Style Chainsaw Protective Chap is an essential apparel that is mainly used by arborists to guard and protect the legs when using chainsaw or cutting a tree. It is made from a 5-layer chain blocking material, with Type A frontal protection from ankle to crotch, and a durable 600D Oxford outer shell. This protective gear is also designed to be water and oil resistant, ensuring a reliable lower extremity protection that tree professionals will surely appreciate. 

This Chainsaw Protective Chap consists of an elastic 2" adjustable waist belt made from Polypropylene webbing, which can accommodate up to 48" waist, and a left front velcro pocket for storage of small climbing accessories such as wedges and carabiners. It also features 1" leg and calf straps, that have snap fasteners for easy adjustment, that offer reliable and comfortable fit on the user. This Notch Protective Chap is UL certified (ASTM F1987- 20), and meets the requirements for leg protection (OSHA 1910-266), making it an effective personal protective equipment when handling chainsaws.
