Lightweight but heavy-duty, the Rope Logic Amsteel Blue Eye Rigging Sling, or sometimes called a Dyneema Eye Sling, is a 12-strand single braid rope that is used by arborists and foresters as a tether for rigging devices. One end of the rope has an eye where the user can easily secure a block, portawrap or other device, and the other side is a running end for knotting. Offering high strength and durability, this eye sling is a great tool for tree rigging or other industrial applications.
The Amsteel Eye Sling is made out of HMPE synthetic fiber which is almost as strong as a steel wire. This rope is soft as silk and less bulky compared to other slings making it more handy and easy to grip and tie. It has a tensile strength of up to 34,000 lbs, and has a working load limit of up to 3,400 lbs. (depending on its configuration), making it a widely used rope for years already.
