Relied on by wildland firefighters for over 80 years, the 5-Gallon Steel Backpack Firefighting Pump is the most trusted name in the wildland fire arena. This is a reliable and durable pump featuring a kidney-shaped, steel tank outfitted with a premium Smith all-brass pump. The lumbar support is excellent, built into the back with air holes for comfort. The FP200 pump is made from two seamless brass cylinders with guide bushing on the inner cylinder to ensure bind-free operation for years.
The Indian Firefighting Pump also has a dual nozzle that allows you to quickly switch from straight stream to fan spray on the go without any special tools. Connecting the nozzle to the tank is the 30” long single-braided, flexible, oil-resistant hose. The large 4” tank opening makes it easy to refill the tank, and the ventilated cap with cam-lock design and gasket prevents leaks. The reinforced brass outlet with a filter screen prevents clogging.
Capping off the Indian Pump is the carrying handle with clips for securing the pump, as well as holes for attaching the removable heavy-duty polypropylene shoulder straps (not included). One of the straps has a clip for attaching the pump to your chest for maximum convenience.
Carefully designed and built with premium materials, the Smith Indian 5-Gallon Steel Backpack Firefighting Pump is a convenient and durable backpack pump that you can rely on to have your back through the fire.
The 5-Gallon Steel Backpack Firefighting Pump has 2 models that differ from the type of steel tank they have. You can choose among the options above.
