9The TPI 2600 Series Downflow Heater is a robust heat source that is perfect for industrial use. It features a totally enclosed, industrial-rated motor that has an automatic reset thermal overload protective device for added protection. This 2600 series heater has a built-in 24-volt transformer that allows for low voltage remote thermostat application.
The TPI Downflow heater includes a corrosion-resistant heating element with a steel sheath and steel spiral fins that delivers maximum heat transfer to the air stream. Also, the 2600 series consists of a manual reset thermal cutout that cuts off the elements and the motor in an event of overheating. It includes durable, individually-balanced axial flow-type fan blades that produce a fan speed of up to 1,570 revolutions per minute (RPM).
This 2600 series downflow heater is made of durable 16 gauge steel cabinet construction with an epoxy powder-coated finish that includes a control compartment with a hinged and latched access door. It is designed with a single supply circuit that conforms to the latest National Electric code and OSHA requirements. As an additional feature, this TPI heater includes OSHA guards and is cETLus listed.
Please Note: All 2600 Series Downflow heaters include a built-in disconnect switch except for the F3F2630CA1, F3F2640CA1, H3H2640CA1, F3F2650CA1, H3H2650CA1 models. Also, it is not advisable to mount it with a threaded rod or chain.
