10 lbs Multi-Purpose ABC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher (4A:80B:C)

The Amerex 10 lbs Multi-Purpose ABC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher with Chrome Brass Valve (4A:80B:C) is a 3-in-1 fire extinguisher that can effectively stop fires involving ordinary combustibles (e.g., paper and wood), flammable gas and liquids, and electrical equipment in larger commercial spaces such as warehouses. With a UL rating of 4A:80B:C, this extinguisher has the same firefighting power as 5 gallons of water and can fight 80 square feet of Class B fire.

Superior firefighting power. Like all Amerex ABC fire extinguishers, the B441 extinguisher uses a unique, specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical that insulates Class A fires by melting at approximately 350°F, smothers and breaks the chain reaction of Class B fires, and does not conduct electricity back to the operator. When sprayed, these fire extinguishers can last up to 22 seconds and reach 15-21 feet. 

Rugged, reliable build. Amerex is known for its high-quality fire extinguishers that are guaranteed to last long with proper maintenance and service. The B441 fire extinguisher features a stored pressure design with steel cylinders, high-gloss polyester powder paint, and chrome-plated brass valves. Brass valves are heavier-duty than aluminum valves, but both are strong enough to withstand fire and are capable of future recharges unlike extinguishers with plastic parts. On top of the usual nozzle, the B441 comes with a hose that makes it easy to aim at the fire while holding the extinguisher upright. All Amerex ABC fire extinguishers are safe to use in temperatures ranging from -65°F to 120°F. 

The B441 extinguisher comes with a wall bracket that is sturdy and easy to mount. Please note that screws and other mounting tools aside from the bracket are not included in the package. Before mounting, please refer to the user manual for the manufacturer’s mounting instructions.

The Amerex 10 lbs Multi-Purpose ABC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher is ANSI/UL approved and manufactured to standards under ISO-9002. All Amerex ABC fire extinguishers are QR-coded, have bilingual labels, and contain required HMIS information. 

Configuration Options

The Amerex 10 lbs Fire Extinguisher is available in red or chrome color finish. Chrome is easier to blend with the background, making it the preferred extinguisher in locations where style and aesthetics are a priority such as hotels, reception areas, modern offices, upscale restaurants, etc. However, because it’s more difficult to spot than its red counterpart, it needs to be accompanied by easy-to-read signage.
