It’s one of the few field controllers that allow you to choose the operating system between Windows Mobile and Android so you can use your preferred software. Using it with an Android OS will allow you to use the X-PAD Android field software known for its intuitive interface, clear structure, and high functionality. Zenius8 also uses hot-swappable batteries to reduce downtime and boost productivity.
High Performance Zenius8 runs on an ultra-fast 1.5 GHz processor, powerful enough to handle large graphical data in the field software. It’s fully integrated with GNSS, compass, altimeter, accelerometer, and gyroscope, equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera for high-definition geo-tagged documentation images. You can also turn the Zenius8 into a full remote control of the Zoom90 robotic total station by attaching the optional long-range Bluetooth cap with a range of up to 600 m. Aside from Bluetooth, Zenius8 can also connect to other devices or transfer data via RS232, USB, MicroSD, and WiFi.
