The Generac XC Professional Series Portable Generator provides the professional-grade power that meets the demands of contractors and construction sites. It is great to use for powering air compressors, circular saw,s concrete vibrator, corded rotary hammer, grinder, lighting, radio and the like. This generator has a running watt of either 6,500 or 8,000 watts and a starting watt of 8,125 or 10,000 watts. Having a runtime of 50 percent load, it can definitely give power up to 14 hours. Also, the XC Series comes with an engine displacement of 426cc.
The XC Series comes with a fully wrapped, heavy duty 12-gauge steel tube that provides durability and protects the generator and fuel tank from damage. It uses gasoline and features a Generac G-Force engine that has a fuel tank capacity of up to 8.5 gallons. Designed for portability, it includes an impact resistant fuel tank design and a steel lifting pocket for easier transportation on job sites.
Reinforced for superior durability, this portable generator features welded steel feet, protected axle, and a ten-inch never flat wheels with steel hubs. It provides Idle Control feature and TruePower technology that provides clean and smooth operation. Also, the user can easily access all routine maintenance areas. As an extra feature, the XC generator comes with a full panel GFCI protector and is OSHA compliant with covered outlets for protection from external trauma and damage.

CARB (California Air Resource Board) deals with environmental protection specifically preventing air pollution. Generac generators with this certification are in compliance with the standards that prevent emissions that are harmful to the ecosystem.
