The Wick Foot Valve/Strainer 1.5" Female NPSH is used on the suction hose intake of Mercedes Textiles’ Wick series pumps to maintain prime and prevent reverse water flow when the pump is not running. This foot valve is made of heavy-duty aluminum and is designed to handle flows up to 100 GPM. It also has a stainless-steel strainer that prevents the intake of pebbles, rocks, and other debris into the pump and engine plumbing. The check valve is spring-loaded to ensure instant closure. It also features an external pressure release. Weighing 1.52 lbs., this rugged foot valve/strainer is designed for high-pressure centrifugal pumps.
