The Rope Logic Ultra Rigging Sling w/ Notch Aluminum Thimble is a combination of a rigging rope and a heavy-duty thimble, which is used by arborists and foresters as a versatile cordage tool for rigging applications. Strong & reliable, this sling-and-thimble combo can be used for redirects, and for reducing point stress during the rigging process, adding safety for the arborist. The hole on the thimble can be utilized to adjust the friction on the rigging line.
High-Quality Design: This rigging device is specifically designed for use in choked configurations, and consists of a high-quality Ultra sling that has a 6' - 9' range of usable length, depending on the model. This rigging sling can easily be adjusted, with its hand-spliced pockets, and can be used on trunks and branches.
This device also features the Notch Rigging Thimble, made from non-anodized, milled aluminum block, which is polished for durability. It has a wide rope groove to have a safe and secure anchoring, a tensile strength of 10,000 lbs to withstand heavy loads, and can accommodate a range of 1/2" D to 3/4" D sling ropes. This is expertly-spliced to the rigging sling for efficiency and ease of use.
