    Produced by Extech, the Compact AC or DC Clamp Meters have a built-in NCV Detector, which allows for quick detection of live voltage. These take True RMS measurements for accurate readings of noisy, distorted, or non-sinusoidal waveforms. With a choice of two different specific models.

    Additional Features

    Clamp meters come complete with a carrying case and two LR44 batteries. They are UL listed with a CAT III 600V safety rating. Contains a special advanced Low Pass Filter (LPF) for accurate measurement of variable frequency drive signals.

    The #MA145 model has a special compact 0.8" (22mm) jaw size that accommodates conductors up to 300MCM and allows measurements in tight locations. With a unique Smart Auto Sense feature that enables automatic input recognition (within a given function) and automatically switches to the correct mode of operation, for example, from AC to DC Current measurement. This also provides an alert when a new reading exceeds 50 digits of a held reading.

    These meters provide inrush current measurement, with a specialized 6000 count backlit LCD display. They also include a low battery indicator and an automatic power off feature.
