The Tandem Global Compass / Clinometer can be used in different applications such as surveying, mining, communication, and satellite antenna positioning.
For an accurate reading, this device has an optical card, and it has threads for mounting onto a tripod for stability. It doesn’t require batteries to operate, making it a reliable tool to use anywhere. It has a compass accuracy of a third of a degree and an inclination accuracy of a quarter degree.
Quality and Features Each unit is individually calibrated to make sure that your readings will be error-free. There are also two edges built onto the device at 90-degrees for contact measurement. There is also an optional declination adjustment tool to ensure fast and easy readings without the need to compute for the magnetic variation for your latitude.
Rugged but Easy to Use Built for the field, it is protected by an all-aluminum housing for protection against shock and corrosion. Each eyepiece is ergonomically placed so that you can switch between functions with the flick of a wrist. This 7-oz compass/clinometer tandem comes with a lanyard so that you can hang it on your neck for easy access to the device when you are out in the field. Also included in the package is a carrying pouch with a belt loop for storage and transport.
