Overview for Weaver Arborist 11650 Standard Throw Weight

The Weaver Standard Throw Weight allows for a throw line to be used to remotely set a climbing line into a tree. This is a very useful tool for tree climbers as it helps in accurately setting a tie-in point.

Well Designed: This simple and small tool has several great design features that provide maximum value to the user. The throw weight consists of a lubricated steel shot enclosed in a latex pouch, which is itself enclosed in nylon covering. A 7/8” nickel-plated steel ring is attached at the top of the nylon covering with the help of a sewn-on nylon loop. The rust-resistant ring allows easy attachment of the throw line and for the throw weight itself to swing freely. A moving action, facilitated by the steel shot’s lubrication, prevents the weight from hanging up in tree branches. All materials are lead-free, so this throw weight can be used for a long time without any lead-exposure to the skin. The latex pouch also provides environmental protection by not allowing any lubricant leakage.

    Product Variations:

The Weaver Standard Throw Weight has three weight options and the user can choose the one that best suits their application and use.
