The Solar Sensor for Weatherhawk Signature Series Weather Station is an effective detecting device that is used for the Weatherhawk Signature Direct Connect and Wireless Series weather stations when measuring solar radiation. This silicon pyranometer features a cut filter that restricts the spectral exposure to a wavelength of 300 to 1,100 nanometers (nm). Offering a ±5% accuracy, this solar sensor can measure an irradiance range from zero to 2,000 watts per square meter (W/m^2) and a temperature range from -40 to 130 °F (-40 to 55 °C).
