    The SpotSee ShockLog 298 Impact Recorder monitors impact events, vibration, and internal temperature of products or equipment to detect mishandling or potential damage during use, shipping, or storage. Equipped with tri-axial piezoelectric accelerometer technology, it records max peaks (X, Y, and Z), direction, amplitude, and duration of impact and offers a capacity of up to 870 events or 262,000 time slots. By integrating optional sensors for tilt and roll, humidity, and pressure, it provides expandable monitoring capabilities.

    This impact monitoring device by SpotSee has a shock range of one up to 200 acceleration of gravity (g) and programmable cut-off frequencies up to 250 hertz. It comes with a built-in internal temperature sensor that detects temperatures ranging from -40 up to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. Its user-definable alarm thresholds, alarm levels, and wake-up values allow maximum flexibility and save power. For visual notifications of device status alerts and warnings, it utilizes LED lights.

    The SpotSee ShockLog 298 Impact Recorder communicates via iButton interface or USB connectivity. With the compatible GPS and Cellular modules (sold separately), it is also capable of connecting to a cellular network or satellite for real-time monitoring and accurate positioning. It is powered by two 3.6-volt lithium (included) or two 1.5-volt AA alkaline batteries (sold separately) and has a long battery life of up to 18 months. To function properly, it requires the ShockLog Accessory Kit (sold separately) during the initial use.
