With up to 200 feet of interior range depending on light conditions and 800 feet exterior range using a laser receiver, the Johnson 40-6515 Self-Leveling Rotary Laser is ideal for various indoor and outdoor applications. Self-leveling within ±3 degrees, this rotary laser offers an accuracy of ±1/8-inch at 50 feet. Also, it features a 90-degrees split beam.
This Johnson Level Self-Leveling Rotary Laser Level has a locking mechanism that protects the inner pendulum during transportation. Its laser rotates at a speed of 200, 400, and 600 rotations per minute. The vertical vial is illuminated for easy manual leveling in a vertical plane. In addition, it features visual and audible alarms when beyond leveling range.
The Johnson Level 40-6515 Self-Leveling Rotary Laser Level is made of durable plastic with heavy rubber over-molds that can withstand the harsh weather conditions. With an IP54 rating, this laser is protected against dust and water splashes. As an extra feature, it includes a 5/8-11 center screw thread that is compatible with most tripods.

The Johnson Level laser receiver allows locating red and infrared rotary laser beam easily in bright light and over long distances. It provides a visual reading on both sides of the laser receiver.
- 40-6517: Johnson 40-6517 Rotary Laser with Laser Receiver, Wall Mount, Tripod and 8' Grade Rod (Feet/8ths)
This package includes a wall mount that provides fine adjustment for aligning jobs and drop-ceiling installations. The grade rod is used to determine differences in elevation. The laser receiver can also be directly attached to this rod. Also included, the tripod is a portable three-legged frame that is used as a platform for supporting the rotary laser while doing leveling operations. Plus, it gives stability regardless of the terrain.
