When you’re out in remote areas, you need a reliable light source to help locate you quickly in case of an emergency. The UST Gear See-Me Series LED Safety Light attaches to your pack or personal floatation device so that it will always be with you in any situation.
It is powered by either 2 AA-size or 2 AAA-size batteries. These readily-available power sources can be purchased in any convenience store nationwide. The light is visible up to 3.4 miles (5.5 km) in clear, dark conditions, far more than the 1 nautical mile requirement of the US Coast Guard.
The light’s IPX7 rating will protect it from water for up to 30 minutes at depths of 3 feet or 1 meter. It includes a lanyard cord and a hook-and-loop strap so you can secure it quickly wherever convenient. The easy twist switch means that you do not have to fumble in the dark to turn it on, just grab and twist to get instant light.
