The Spectra Ranger 3RC Data Collector is a handheld surveying tool designed to work with any total station and survey data collectors available on the market today. It has a customized 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and geotagging feature to easily identify location-specific information effectively. This data collector also comes with a 2.4 GHz radio module that works with many Spectra robotic total stations and other data collectors.

This Spectra data collector features an integrated GPS receiver to improve signal and navigation while using less battery power. It includes WiFi and Bluetooth capability, which allows a cable-free connection with other field instruments and PCs. For easy data management, the Ranger 3RC sports a high-speed 800 MHz processor, 256 MB RAM and an 8GB onboard memory for storing large amounts of data. Plus, it runs with Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional operating system that can run a specific mobile version of several programs.

The Ranger 3RC data collector flaunts a dual-layer glass touchscreen color display and an optional keyboard for a seamless input and results reading. With an IP67 rating, this surveying tool is protected from dust and water. In addition, the Spectra Ranger 3RC is powered with a 2,600 mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery that operates up to 30 hours on a single charge.
