The Rain Gauge for Weatherhawk Signature Series Weather Station is a rugged weather center accessory that effectively measures precipitation. It features a mechanical, auto-dump tipping bucket that is compatible with the Weatherhawk Signature Direct Connect and Wireless Series weather stations only.

This Weatherhawk rain gauge measures the rainfall rate by capturing raindrops through a 7.75 square-inch orifice to form a drip stream and tip. With a resolution of 0.04 inches per tip, it activates a switch and triggers an electrical pulse. The product of the pulses and the volume of the tipping bucket is the rainfall rate of the calibrated area. As an additional feature, this rain gauge weighs less than a pound which makes it a lightweight companion for a whole-day work.
