Overview for ZipLevel ZLP-100 Pro 2000 High Precision Altimeter

The Ziplevel Pro-2000 is a high precision altimeter that provides horizontal and vertical leveling with digital readouts of elevation. It only takes seconds to set up and offers a one-person operation even without line of sight and manual computations. With a 100-foot interconnecting cord, the Pro-2000 consists of a base unit that stores its handheld measurement module, a rubber protective boot, a unipod stick for measuring vertical without bending and a pair of stakes to secure the base unit on a hillside.

      One Man Operation

With a 200-foot circle and 40-foot vertical range, the Pro-2000 altimeter sets an infinite size level benchmark plane with just a press of the measurement module zero key. You can instantly level or adjust forms and easily read elevations in fractional or decimal inches, feet or meters with 1/8 inch accuracy and 0.01 inch vertical accuracy in High Precision mode.

      Powerful Functions

The Ziplevel features 16 powerful built-in functions, including automatic shutoff, sound leveling, ambient temperature display, monitoring, data recording and more. Its Carry Function let's you measure over any distance or elevation while keeping your benchmark at zero. It also has a PC serial port for viewing stored data to your computer for tables, profiles, 3D or maps.

      No Factory Calibration

The Ziplevel Pro does not experience tilted level plane errors, so there is no need for factory calibration. Vertical calibration can also be checked instantly at a known elevation. The Ziplevel is also 10,000 times more precise as an aircraft altimeter and immune from both barometric pressure and altitude changes.

      Longer Cord

The Ziplevel Pro 2000 has a 100-foot cord that contains a propriety liquid and pressuring gas. It can be compressed, stretched or kinked without damage. The cord fits securely inside the instrument and can be reeled in or out.

      Rugged and Reliable

Using a single 9V battery, this measuring device runs for up to a year with typical daily use and can withstand extreme temperatures. It is also water resistant and can survive a drop of up to five feet onto concrete and can store 137 measurements on-board.

The Ziplevel Pro-2000 package is an excellent device for estimating, planning, excavation, construction and landscaping jobs and comes with 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.
